Clinical Achievements
Clinical Case Studies
Presenting monthly case studies afforded me the opportunity to present and discuss treatment techniques used at my place of employment. These cases were chosen based upon my level of interest, the challenge level, or of personal interest to my educational level at that time. Case studies were peer reviewed by fellow classmates, allowing an opportunity for questions and comment on presented techniques. In addition to being informative, case study presentations familiarized me with the American Medical Association (AMA) style of writing format which is the typical writing style for most medical journal writing.
Below are Case Studies that I planned and presented:
Semester I: (Spring 2014)
1: January/February >>
IMRT for large squamous cell carcinoma of the penis lesion
2: February/March >>
VMAT for a bladder cancer patient with a hip prosthesis
3: March/April >>
IMRT for whole-brain irradiation in the management of localized central nervous system germ cell tumors
